ABOUT
ME
Hi,
I'm Michelle Bienz. I am a licensed acupuncturist and massage
therapist. I have practiced acupuncture for 2 years and
massage for 10. I have wanted to be a healer since I was
a young girl. I started this path when I was 8 and have
continued along it ever since. I graduated from West Texas
A & M University with a B.S. in Psychology in December
1997. During my senior year in college, I attended the Austin
School of Massage Therapy in Amarillo. I received my massage
license in 1998. I've worked for various companies doing
massage ranging from health clubs to meditation studios
to herbal shops. I am a geriatric to a deep tissue therapist.
In 1999, I worked for an herbal company that sold Nature's
Sunshine herbs, where I met Lauren. Lauren introduced me
to Shamanism, many different forms of massage and the 5
Element Theory. This was a great gift for me and I appreciate
her teaching. Little did I know that the combination of
meeting Lauren and the herb shop that I worked for would
be the precursor for my education in Oriental Medicine.
I From 2001 to 2004, I attended the American College of
Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine graduating with a Master's
in Oriental Medicine. I am Nationally Certified as a Diplomate
of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology.
